I came in touch with Dr. Dhiren Shah and CIMS Hospital, when my father got diagnosed with aortic valve stenosis (AVS) and hence replacement of it by open heart surgery was needed. While meeting for the first time for pre-operative consultation, I was completely impressed with doctor’s thinking which is completely forward to patient’s interest. Top of that empathy, humility and patience has lead me finalizing my father’s surgery at CIMS with him only. The whole process of surgery was well planned and smooth without any untoward incident. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. “Patient first” attitude was very clearly displayed everywhere, starting from admission, surgery, post surgery care & rehabilitation, discharge. What is more surprising, their concern for patient does not end at discharging the patient, they were in touch through phone call at predefined time point to inquire about patient’s rehabilitation in his routine life. While getting discharged my father, I was truly grateful to all the staff including doctors, assistants, nurse, administration staff due to there constant care, professionalism in offering their services with the sense of empathy, passion and selfless concern.Well I think further to above review, one particular quality of Dr. Dhiren Shah is worth mentioning, from the first pre-operative consultation he had provided his personal mobile number to reach with him in case of any emergency related to patient. And I need to admit that twice I called him post surgery during secondary illness of my father to inquire about medications, within just two rings the call.is answered either by himself or his assistant, but it makes sure your concern is addressed. Has anybody seen such kind of passion, patient concern and professionalism in medical profession in India?With all this, I recommend him and CIMS for anybody who are confused with which doctor and hospital to choose, which will assure patient safety and well being above all.
